- Camera & Photos: With your explicit permission, we access your camera and photo library for profile pictures and community posts.
- Transaction Data: Products purchased, delivery addresses, payment references, and order history.
- Usage Data: Products viewed, searches performed, and features used to improve recommendations and app experience.
- Traceability Data: Crop type, harvest dates, farming practices, and sustainability scores for produce traceability features.
3. How We Use Your Information
- To provide and maintain our agricultural marketplace service
- To process orders and payments via Paystack
- To provide AI-powered crop recommendations and market intelligence
- To deliver weather-based farming advice for your location
- To enable community features (posts, groups, comments)
- To send order confirmations, delivery updates, and important notifications
- To improve our services, personalize your experience, and provide relevant product recommendations
- To facilitate produce traceability and export marketplace transactions
4. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely on our servers hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS). Authentication tokens are stored in encrypted secure storage on your device. All data transmission uses HTTPS encryption. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Paystack: Payment processing (card, mobile money, bank transfer). Subject to Paystack's Privacy Policy.
- OpenWeatherMap: Weather data for your farming location.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): Cloud hosting and AI services for crop recommendations and market intelligence.
- Expo (EAS): Push notification delivery and app updates.
6. Permissions
- Location (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION, ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION): Used for weather forecasts and local market data. Only accessed with your explicit permission. You can revoke this at any time in device settings.
- Camera (CAMERA): Used for taking profile photos and community post images. Only accessed when you explicitly choose to take a photo.
- Storage (READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): Used for selecting photos from your gallery for profile and posts.
- Vibration (VIBRATE): Used for haptic feedback on interactions.
7. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. We share data only:
- With payment processors (Paystack) to complete transactions
- With sellers/buyers as necessary to fulfill marketplace orders
- With delivery partners to fulfill physical product orders
- As required by applicable law or legal process

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy. Order history is retained for record-keeping. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
